Learning Outcome - The learner will:		Assessment Criterion - The learner can:
1	Know what Health and Safety procedures are required for costume for performance.	1.1	Follow Health and Safety procedures when using costume for performance.
		1.2	Outline why it is important to follow instructions from wardrobe assistants and dressers.
		1.3	State why it is important to follow guidance and instructions for the cleaning and care of costume.
		1.4	Outline why it is important to follow dressing room etiquette.
2	Understand how costume can enhance the performance and overall production.	2.1	Identify how costume is used by two performers in a performance to enhance the performance and production.
2		2.2	Give an example of the use of costume for one of the following: (a) to portray the age/time period or historic context (b) to enhance the imagination (c) to interpret the script/production.
3	Understand the value of supporting research and notation for costume for performance.	3.1	Use supporting research and notation to support and develop ideas for costume.
