Describe what is meant by the term “time management” and state why it is important

Identify the possible impact of poor time management on:

• The volunteer

• Others who rely on the volunteer, such as an employer or the volunteer’s family

State why it is important to be punctual to all volunteering appointments

State why it is important for volunteers to meet agreed deadlines for completing their work

Plan time to take account of commitments
