Learning Outcome - The learner will:		Assessment Criterion - The learner can:
1	Be able to assess the issues affecting young people who are gay, lesbian or bisexual	1.1	Analyse the personal, psychological, social and health issues and factors that may affect young people who are gay, lesbian or bisexual
1		1.2	Evaluate the impact of these issues and factors on the needs and vulnerability of these young people
2	Be able to review and evaluate the effectiveness of support for young people who are gay, lesbian or bisexual	2.1	Develop and evaluate sensitive and positive strategies to help these young people to explore their own feelings, views and priorities
		2.2	Review and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans for these young people, taking action to ensure appropriateness and compliance with statutory and legal frameworks
		2.3	Analyse the extent to which the relevant information, guidance and support services have been accessed and evaluate how successful they have been in meeting the needs of young people who are gay, lesbian or bisexual
