Learning Outcome - The learner will:		Assessment Criterion - The learner can:
1	Understand the referral process prior to physiotherapy	1.1	Explain the referral process
2	Know about the types of physiotherapy which can be used other than hydrotherapy	2.1	Explain the types of therapies used in • Manual therapies • Electrical therapies
2		2.2	For each type of therapy analyse the benefits it can provide, the conditions which it can treat, those for which it is not suitable and precautions that must be taken.
3	Know about the uses of Hydrotherapy	3.1	Explain the types of activities involved in Hydrotherapy
		3.2	Analyse the benefits hydrotherapy can provide, the conditions which it can treat, those for which it is not suitable and precautions that must be taken.
		3.3	Under supervision, conduct a hydrotherapy session on a chosen animal safely, following the required procedure for the condition being treated
		3.4	Review the session in terms of their performance
4	Know about the rehabilitation procedures linked to hydrotherapy treatment	4.1	Describe the rehabilitation procedures used in conjunction with hydrotherapy, stating • what these are • when they should be done
