Learning Outcome - The learner will:Assessment Criterion - The learner can:

Analyse the employability skills required in a range of UK music industry job roles and plan for skill development in a chosen area of employment.

1.1

Analyse the range of employability and soft skills identified as:

a. essential;

b. desirable;

for employment in two areas of their interest within the UK music industry.

1.2

Undertake an employability and soft skills analysis and:

a. create a portfolio of their own skills;

b. compare own skills with those identified as essential/desirable in 1.1;

c. identify areas requiring further skill development.

1.3

Develop strategies for skill development as identified in 1.2c, highlighting essential and desirable training requirements and clarifying:

a. how the training may be sourced;

b. the format of the training;

c. timescales for:

i. undertaking the training;

ii. completion of skill development.
