Learning Outcome - The learner will:		Assessment Criterion - The learner can:
1	Understand what ‘multi-agency working’ means and the roles and responsibilities other agencies	1.1	Explain what ‘multi-agency working’ means in own work situation
1		1.2	Identify different agencies, explain their roles and responsibilities and how they work to protect young people
2	Know about the policies and procedures of their organisation when reporting concerns	2.1	Explain when and how they would refer any concerns regarding the protection of young people
2		2.2	Identify the appropriate person to discuss any concerns they have in relation to young people’s protection or welfare
3	Know what to do if there is an unsatisfactory response to concerns that they have raised	3.1	Explain why it is important to report unsafe practice by others and what they would do if they felt the practice of a colleague was unsafe
		3.2	Describe their organisation’s ‘whistle blowing’ policy
		3.3	Explain what they would do if no action was taken when they had reported abuse or unsafe behaviour by a colleague
