Learning Outcome - The learner will:		Assessment Criterion - The learner can:
1	Know how to follow health and safety procedures for performance hair and/or make-up.	1.1	Follow health and safety procedures to apply performance hair and/or make-up.
		1.2	Skin test products for allergic reactions prior to use and application.
		1.3	Follow instructions to safely to remove performance hair and/or make-up.
2	Understand how hair and/or make-up can enhance stage performance and the overall stage production.	2.1	Give examples of how performance hair and/or make-up is used by perfomers.
2		2.2	Give an example of the use of performance hair and/or make-up for two of the following: a) to completely disguise b) to enhance features c) to enhance the imagination d) to age or make younger.
3	Understand the value of supporting research and notation for performance hair and/or make-up.	3.1	Use supporting research and notation to support and develop ideas for performance hair and/or make-up.
4	Be able to apply performance hair and/or make-up to create different effects.	4.1	Identify two different performance make-up products.
		4.2	Apply performance hair and/or make-up to create three different effects and give consideration to face shape and facial expressions.
		4.3	State the differences between the ‘before and after’ effect of using the hair and/or make-up.
