Achievement of NQF units may be used in the Recognition of Prior Learning process to establish the evidence of credit against QCF units.

Structure Requirements
Learners must achieve 45 credits in total. 9 credits must be achieved from the Mandatory Group A (Core Skills). The learner can take the remaining credits from any group but a maximum of 7 credits can be taken from Optional Group IT, of which up to 3 credits can be at Level 1. A minimum of 33 credits must be achieved at Level 2. A maximum of 12 credits are allowed at Level 1.
The awarding organisation states that this qualification is appropriate for use in the following age ranges.
