The VTCT Level 1 Award in Vocational Studies - Hair and Beauty Studies (QCF) is made up of 2 mandatory units, totalling 4 credits, plus a selection of optional units, totalling a minimum of 5 credits. A minimum of 2 credits must be selected from Optional Group A and a minimum of 3 credits from Optional Group B. A minimum of 5 credits must be achieved at Level 1 or above. The total credit value for this qualification is 9.
