The qualification comprises of mandatory generic units units, mandatory specialist units and optional groups In order to achieve the qualification, candidates must achieve a minimum of : 16 credits from the 4 mandatory generic units (Group A) 8 credits from the 2 specialist mandatory units (Group B) 8 credits from the optional groups (D, E) ensuring that both knowledge and skills components are achieved MG Units = 4, Credits = 16 MS Units = 2, Credits = 8 2 groupings - choose 1 = 8 credits Total credits required to achieve the qual = 32 Min at level 1 or above = 32 Min GLH = 277 / Max GLH = 277
