The Functional Skills qualifications are component-based qualifications. FS mathematics and ICT qualifications are single component qualifications. FS English qualifications contain multiple components (Speaking, listening and communication; Reading; Writing) some of which may be integrated but which must be reported separately (see regulatory criteria).
