Structure Requirements
The Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNC Diploma in Computing and Systems Development consists of 120 credits, of which at least 90 credits must be achieved at level 4. The qualification includes three mandatory core units (45 credits). A further 75 credits must be selected from the optional and/or vendor units. Centres may also seek approval to use a maximum of 30 credits from units taken from other Edexcel BTEC qualifications on the QCF in order to meet local needs.
The awarding organisation states that this qualification is appropriate for use in the following age ranges.
