Structure Requirements
To complete this qualification, candidates must achieve twenty four credits. A minimum of fifteen credits must be at Level 2, of which eight credits will come from the mandatory unit E19. The remaining 9 credits may be taken from the optional units at Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3. Mandatory Units • Candidates must complete unit E19 for a total of eight credits. Optional Units (to total sixteen credits) Candidates must take a minimum of sixteen credits through a combination of optional units, of which: • a minimum of seven credits must come from Level 2 Optional units (selecting from Group B and Group C) and; • remaining credits can come from any or all of Groups A, B C and D but: • Only one unit from Group C may be used towards this qualification • Credit may not be taken from both Group A and Group D; therefore if candidates choose to select a unit or units from Group A, they cannot then select a unit or units from Group D and vice versa.
The awarding organisation states that this qualification is appropriate for use in the following age ranges.
